Terms & Conditions
Our aim is for all our guests to have a relaxing stay with us, where memories are created, days are filled with fun and laughter, and evenings are spent gazing at the stars. To make this happen we have compiled these terms and conditions to ensure everyone’s safety and happiness.
Please read them carefully as by booking with us you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in contact via email or the booking form on our website.
Valley View Glamping reserve the right to change their website, including prices and terms and conditions, without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse entry to the site, cancel bookings, or instruct people to leave the site for any reason (for example due to weather conditions, poor site conditions, unacceptable behaviour or for breaking the rules.)
Use of our website signifies your agreement to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Privacy
The booking process asks for your address details and phone number; these are required by the Local Authority so we can prove you are not residents at the glamp site. It also lets us contact you should the internet stop working and we need to contact you whilst you are travelling to site. Your financial details are never stored or viewed by us. Your personal details may be kept by us for future mailing and news. If you wish to opt out of this, please let us know. We will not pass on or sell your details to any third parties.
Booking
To secure your booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is then due 30 days prior to arrival. If the booking is less than 4 weeks away, then payment is required in full. A confirmation email will be sent once we have received your payment.
The person booking the stay with us is responsible for ensuring all party members have been given the correct information. For example, these Terms and Conditions, our privacy policy and guiding them to the information folder in each dome. We ask this to ensure everyone’s safety, to protect the site and its facilities and to be fully aware of our farming practices and livestock. We are a working farm. We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied under 18s.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights policy. If any members of your party are only staying for the 1 evening, then our minimum 2 nights stay rule still applies.
Payment
All bookings and payments are done through an online booking system called bedful.com.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £75 is required with each booking to safeguard against potential damages. We accept accidents happen, however if there is significant damage, added cleaning due to the dome being left in an unacceptable state or anti-social behaviour then additional charges will be acquired. Should you break or damage something please just let us know during your stay. If the accommodation is left satisfactory your deposit will be refunded 48 hours after check out.
Changes to bookings made by YOU
We kindly request you let us know as soon as possible. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any request for changes.
Where changes are possible there will be an administration fee of £25.00. Changes must be made in writing by the person who made the booking and sent via email.
You cannot change a booking within 30 days of your check in date.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking it must be done so in writing and sent via email, by the person who made the booking. Your booking will be cancelled with effect from the day we receive your email. For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival then any sum paid above the deposit amount will be refunded. The deposit amount is not refundable. It can be held over to another date, subject to availability later in the year or the following year. If this option is taken there will be a £25.00 handling charge.
If you roll over to another date for which a higher sum is charged, you will need to pay the difference.
If cancellation is made within 30 weeks of the arrival date 100% of the total sum will not be refunded (as generally we cannot re let the unit in that time) and your stay cannot be rolled over to a later date. However, if we do manage to re let it in this time we will refund appropriately.

If we are unable to find you a suitable replacement date or you do not accept our substitute your booking will be cancelled, and we will refund the amount you have paid.
We strongly recommend guests take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss etc.
Valley View Glamping may also terminate your booking at any time in writing to you if:

This is strictly a no smoking/vaping site.
We do not allow smoking or vaping anywhere within the site or our farm. The dome walls are fabric and any cost for replacing fabric items damaged by cigarette or vape smoke will be charged. Cigarette butts not put out properly can cause fires during the hot summer months putting our livestock, crops and machinery at risk as well as other guests and their possessions.
We do not permit the use of candles inside or outside the dome. Disposable barbeques are not allowed as a barbeque will be provided. BBQ must be always kept on your personal decking area. Camping in the UK can mean extraordinary changes in weather in a short period of time. Glamping is still camping, and you are responsible for your own well-being and comfort, with regards to appropriate clothing and footwear etc. In extreme weather conditions such as exceptional cold and snow, when forecasted we do our best to warn guests and give them the option to move dates (subject to availability) without being subject to the cancellation policy administration handling charge, or loss of any monies. However, the domes are heated and fully insulated, and the weather would only prevent you from coming if the access to the site was compromised. (e.g. flooding or snow drifts)
